Wings Blow 4-Goal Lead, But Brad Stuart Nets Winner

The Red Wings collected two more points Tuesday night, which is ultimately the most important part of what they did.

That they blew a four-goal lead and needed a break to secure a 5-4 victory over the Edmonton Oilers at Joe Louis Arena, well, so be it. The bottom line is the Wings wake up today with 93 points thanks to having won for the sixth straight time.
Brad Stuart ensured a victory against Edmonton when he got his stick on Pavel Datsyuk's shot and tipped the puck beneath Jeff Deslauriers with 1:37 remaining. The goal was called good on the ice, and video review could not conclusively determine Stuart's stick was high, which would have meant no goal.
