Lions Get Rob Sims From Seahawks; He’s Likely Starter At Left Guard

The Lions have acquired left guard Rob Sims from the Seattle Seahawks, Sims’ agent, Joel Segal, confirmed.

Terms of the deal were not immediately available, but ESPN reported that the Lions gave up this year’s fifth-round draft pick.

Lions spokesman Bill Keenist said the team had no comment. The Lions’ policy is not to comment on roster moves until they’re official. Sims is expected to arrive in Detroit on Tuesday or Wednesday to take a physical to complete the deal.

Great move by Lions..I am still worried by their positons. Now for the first pick they have to go with DT Suh…and their other needs for the rest of the draft…CB,Safety,Tackle and RB.

A starter for a fifth round pick and I heard a seventh round pick also. Who are these guys in charge of the lions? Don’t they know lions don’t do things the right way? Do we finally have the right guys in charge?
