Pistons Use Sharp Shooting To Halt Losing Streak At 11
Much to the chagrin of fans dreaming of a high lottery pick, the Pistons won't carry a 17-game losing streak into next season.
That's because they snapped an 11-game losing streak Tuesday night with a 124-103 victory over the equally bad 76ers.
The 124 points were a season-high for the Pistons (24-53), as was their 62.7% shooting.
Charlie Villanueva, one day after missing the team flight, came off the bench and scored 15 points in 11 minutes in the first half and finished with a team-high 25. Rookie Austin Daye, who also missed the flight, scored nine.
