For those still paying attention, the Pistons’ season is officially over.

At least it came to a positive conclusion Wednesday when the Pistons defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, 103-98.

Trailing all game, the Pistons rallied in the fourth quarter behind a lineup consisting of Charlie Villanueva, Chucky Atkins and all three rookies (Jonas Jerebko, Austin Daye, DaJuan Summers).

“We won the game, I hope it’s a glimpse of the future,” said Daye, who scored 12. “I was surprised as you guys probably were all three of us were out there but we got the lead and it showed how much confidence Coach (John Kuester) had in us.”

The Pistons finished 27-55.
