Ndamukong Suh leaned back on a bench in Central Park, stretched out his legs — and, yes, he was sporting a pair of Honolulu blue Nike shoes — and idly tossed a football.

His life is about to change. So is his address.

And Suh, a dominant defensive tackle out of Nebraska, has heard all the speculation he’ll end up in Detroit as the No. 2 overall pick in Thursday night’s NFL draft. But he’ll believe it when he hears commissioner Roger Goodell say it.

with the 2nd pick of the 2010 nfl draft the Lions select
    Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama

  3. Dave says:

Rolando McClain is the pick and the hint from the coaches was the surprise is when he is picked not who they were going to pick

  4. J-Bone says:

You can make a lot of arguments as to exactly who the Lions should pick, but Suh not only has the talent but also the great persona that Detroit has needed on this team since Chris Spielman left. Much like Zach Follett. The acquistion of Suh could attract other quality players to the Lions down the road that may not have considered Detroit otherwise.

  5. Joe From Macomb says:

suh going 1st overall best qb is clausen and he’s not going to be the next hof out of this draft why would the Rams draft a semipro collage qb from the sooners of all collages.

Then why did the Lions traded there best linebacker Sims when didn’t need to pull this trade this second. I don’t mind the Lions drafting Bama players after all there system is build on being the #1 overall. Hopefully the Lions will have a bad season in 2010 then pick the rb named INGRam in 2011. More bama players the better. bama knows ncaa football.
