'Click' On Photography
It is hard to imagine now, in an age of smartphones with built in digital cameras, but once there was a world without photography.
The Smithsonian has launched an online exhibit called Click, which explores how photography changes the way that people see things and the ways in which photography changes the way that people remember and study the world.
Included in the exhibit are the ways photography looks at art, science, the planet, and even our sense of history.
The exhibit even includes information on the first camera phone, developed to send digital pictures of the inventor's new born daughter via email.
