The two chief architects behind the Red Wings’ massive success over the past decade have received contract extensions that will keep them in Detroit through the 2015-16 season.
The team announced today that general manager Ken Holland and assistant general manager Jim Nill received five-year extensions. Each has a year left on his current contract.
