The State of Michigan released its ranking of schools this week, part of its effort to identify and address the bottom five percent of schools in the state.

The state has insisted that schools that score low enough on tests, and in their high school graduation rates, either close or take drastic steps to turn their school around.

But even if your school is not in that bottom tier, the State of Michigan rated each school, and has created ranked list in spreadsheet form.

So while the results should not be taken as the last word on school performance, you can now log in to the Michigan Department of Education website and see how your child’s school stacks up again its peers.
