Group Will Bare It All To Beat Record
They'll be trying to set a record at a Michigan nudist resort this Saturday, and at nudist resorts all over the country. Michiganders will strip down to their birthday suits to try to beat the current Guinness World Record for skinny dipping at Whispering Oaks Nudist Resort in Oxford, while others join in across the nation.
WWJ Newsradio 950's Beth Fisher spoke with resort owner Gary Moore, who said he knows it's not for everybody.
"When it comes to this, tomorrow morning, the people that are interested will show up. The people that scoff at it, they just won't show up -- which is okay by us," Moore said.
Moore , who's been a nudist most of his life, said it's more of a freedom thing than anything else, saying his club is for families.
To set the record, they'll need more than 13,648 people to bare it all in the water.
