Spend "A Day In The D"
Whether you're a lifelong resident of Detroit, or you're new in town, there's a special one-day training session that's designed to help you understand Detroit - past, present and future.
It's actually a bus ride like no other in the city of Detroit. It's called "A Day in the D."
The highlights of the day-long bus ride run the gamut from the Detroit Opera House to midtown, to the point where you get off the bus and walk through an Eastside neighborhood.
The tour also includes a final reception at the Detroit Opera House along with opportunities to meet and discuss issues with representatives from foundation, government, development, churches, public safety, arts/culture, business, education and media.
