Automation Alley sets 10th annual Awards Gala: Automation Alley announced that it is now accepting nominations for its upcoming 10th Annual Awards Gala, taking place on Friday, Oct. 1, at the Royal Park Hotel in downtown Rochester. The event honors the top technology companies and leaders in Southeast Michigan. "Great things are happening here in Southeast Michigan," said Ken Rogers, executive director of Automation Alley. "The Awards Gala provides Automation Alley the opportunity to not only recognize, but thank Southeast Michigan's emerging stars and distinguished leaders for their ongoing commitment and contributions to our region." Automation Alley is currently seeking nominations in the following categories: Legend CEO (Lifetime Achievement Award); CEO of the Year;  Emerging Leader of the Year; Automation Alley Member of the Year;  Technology Company of the Year; Emerging Technology Company of the Year; a new category, Global Trader of the Year; and Educational Program of the Year. The nomination deadline is Friday, July 30 at 5 p.m. All members of Southeast Michigan's business community are eligible to enter. Sponsorships are currently available and range from $500 - $30,000. PMV Sets 'PMV Academy' End User Education Series: As a managed services provider, PMV Technologies realizes the value of education and training which is why the PMV Academy End User Education Series is once again open for enrollment. Plex Systems Hosts Free Webinar for Manufacturers: The Auburn Hills manufacturing management software developer Plex Systems Inc. Tuesday announced sponsorship of a free Webinar titled "Manufacturing Operations Management: Capitalizing on the Economic Recovery," hosted by Aberdeen Group.
