Controversy Over Auschwitz Dance Video

Have you heard about the “Auschwitz Dance?”

It’s a controversial video on Facebook and elsewhere on the Internet featuring A Holocaust survivior  dancing with his family at Auchswitz to the song “I Will Survive.”

The star of the video is Adolek Kohn who is doing a little shuffle to the music.
It’s a 4 and a half minute video with the 89 year old survivor, his daughter and his three grandchildren, dancing near the railroad tracks leading to Auchwitz where millions of people were locked up and  murdered during the Holocaust

It’s sparking a debate on whether it’s disrespectful to those who died or whether it really is a celebration of life.

Since he’s a survivor he would know. We shouldn’t judge him. If this is what makes him feel good about it then so be it. He deserves his freedom of speech.
