Gladiator GarageWorks Holds Annual Green Garage Sale
Benton Harbor-based Whirlpool Corp.'s Gladiator GarageWorks division is offering savings on products to help consumers turn their garage into a green oasis with energy-efficient appliances and sustainable products built to withstand the garage environment.
The Gladiator GarageWorks Annual Green Your Garage Sale, which runs through Aug. 16, is offering $150 off and free home delivery of the Chillerator garage refrigerator, the only Energy Star qualified refrigerator on the market built to handle the extreme temperatures and humidity of the garage. Additionally, it is offering $75 off and free home delivery of the Trash Compactor, a compactor designed specifically for the garage environment that can help consumers minimize the total volume of their trash and use fewer trash bags. The sale also includes $50 off Gladiator brand's new 66.5-inch Bamboo Workbench, which is a sustainable alternative for consumers looking for a sturdy work surface in the garage.

Built by Green Builder, the Vision House exemplifies the pinnacle of sustainability, built with energy-efficiency, water conservation, resource management and indoor environment quality in mind. Gladiator GarageWorks, Chillerator garage refrigerator and the Trash Compactor, were used to build a customized recycling zone inside the garage. The home opened March 27, and will be open through September.
