13th Congressional Candidates Debate Tonight
It could be one of the most watched Congressional races this year,and tonight the candidates will square off in a one hour debate.
Congresswoman Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick will face off against four other Democrats -- at 7 p.m. Monday at Wayne State University. The one candidate that will not appear is State Senator Hansen Clarke who, polls show, is leading the race.
Clarke will be at a fundraiser according to his campaign.
The debate is co-sponsored by Wayne State University Journalism Institute for Media Diversity and the Detroit Chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists. The debate is free and open to the public.

All seven declared candidates - John Broad, Vincent T. Brown, Hansen Clarke, John Hauler, Stephen Hume, Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick and Glenn Plummer - were invited to participate. As of Monday morning confirmed candidates include Broad, Cheeks Kilpatrick and Plummer.
