They’re planning a “pot party” at the Silverdome — and police in Pontiac say they won’t be celebrating.
The “First International Cannabis Convention” is planned for October and flyers are already showing up at local businesses. The event will include vendors, food and what’s being called “vaporization tents.”
City police say they just learned about the event this week — and are worried about possible illegal behavior. Michigan’s medical marijuana law was approved in November 2008 — and spawned numerous marijuana-related businesses across Michigan.
