Power Out, Trees Down After Storms
DTE Energy said 6,000 Southeast Michigan residences and businesses remained without power Thursday, following Wednesday's storms.
The outages Thursday morning included roughly 2,000 in both Wayne and Oakland counties.
The worst of the damage was to the west, with reports of trees down in the Milford area, one falling on a car. The largest concentration of outages seemed to be in Ann Arbor, with scattered outages in northern Oakland and Macomb counties.
Winds as high as 60-miles per hour were clocked in Mt Clemens and West Bloomfield, up to 45-miles per hour in Novi.
Other power outages were reported in Waterford, Livonia, Birmingham, Eastepointe and Roseville, along with areas of Northwest Detroit and the city's upper east side.
Accuweather says Thursday will be mostly sunny and less humid, with a high of 83. Click here for the latest weather information.
