Shark Week

It has become an anticipated week of summer television over the last couple of decades. No, not the Summer X Games. Not the return of Mad Men...It is the return of Shark Week on The Discovery Channel. I've always been fascinated with sharks, even before seeing Jaws as a 12-year old kid. But why as guys, do we love seeing sharks do their thing?. It's simple. We love displays of power and the fact that an animal is refered to as a "killing machine". And whether it's a lion running down a gazelle or an eagle snatching a salmon out of the water, it beats watching Brennan Boesch swing at another fastball on the outside corner!
