Employees at a waste water treatment plant in Dexter were evacuated Wednesday morning due to a hazmat situation.
Officials tell WWJ Newsradio 950 that they got a call from one of the employees who said he had some trouble breathing because two chemicals were accidentally mixed at the Dexter Utilities Plant on Huron Street.
A hazmat team was on the scene to evaluate and clean the situation. Employees were let back into the building late afternoon.
No injuries were reported.
