SVSU Ranks As Least Expensive In Mich.
Saginaw Valley State University remains the least expensive of Michigan's 15 public universities.
Saginaw Valley State raised tuition by nearly six-percent this year - one of the largest increases of any Michigan university - but The Saginaw News reports its overall tuition rate of $7,300 is nearly $800 a year less than the state's second least expensive, Northern Michigan University.
The report said Michigan Technological University overtook the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor as the state's most expensive university.
Western Michigan University had the highest increase at nearly seven-percent.
