Free Driver's Training Program

drivers edge drivers training photo Free Driver's Training ProgramA national teen driver’s education program is taking place at Oakland Mall this weekend and it is free.

WWJ auto analyst John McElroy reports the Driver’s Edge program is a non-profit organization that offers training to those between 16 and 21 years of age.

This weekend’s program is at Oakland Mall.  Those wanting to participate must have a valid learner’s permit or license.  The program takes about four-and-a-half hours.

The website says driver’s education in this country is “appalling.”
