Sentencing Set For Former Kilpatrick Aide
Former Detroit mayoral aide Kandia Milton is expected to learn his fate today -- for his role in a city corruption scandal.
Milton pleaded guilty to bribery while he was city council liaison under ex-Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick. Federal prosecutors are pushing for a lighter sentence than what Milton agreed to in his plea deal, citing his cooperation with authorities.
Milton's brother, DeDan Milton, was sent to prison as part of the federal probe.
