RealKidz Launches New Online Family Network, Improved E-Commerce

Ease of use, connectivity, information, and enhanced functionality are all components of the newly launched Web sites of RealKidz, an Ypsilanti-based lifestyle apparel company for girls.

RealKidz provides age-appropriate, great-fitting and high-quality, fashionable clothing for plus-size and average girls. Their products and their brand new online social network are dedicated to help boost children's self-esteem and promote a healthy, confident and happy lifestyle.

The company launched the RealKidz Family Network, www.realkidz.org, a new online community aimed at addressing the self-esteem, health and wellness needs of children. The site will feature a group of expert content providers such as food coaches, child psychologists, pediatricians, childhood obesity researchers, nutritionists and child fitness professionals who will provide information on the latest advances in fitness, nutrition and more. Users will have the ability to share photos, read articles from experts, and participate in moderated forums for children and their parents.

At the same time, RealKidz Clothing, www.realkidz.com, used the Pinnacle Shopping Cart platform customized by Successful Online Stores to re-design and develop a more enhanced and robust e-Commerce site. The new shopping cart platform allows users to search and view products easier and also features a more streamlined and secure checkout process.

"RealKidz improved e-Commerce site and our new Family Network site were developed to complement each other," said Merrill Guerra, founder of RealKidz. "We believe that offering attractive, properly-sized clothing accompanied with an inclusive support network is a comprehensive approach to promoting and encouraging happy, self-confident young girls."
