Man Questioned About Fire That Injured Firefighters
Detroit investigators are questioning a man in connection with the arson fire that injured seven firefighters.
Donald Dawkins, spokesman for U.S. Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, confirmed federal agents are talking with the man who is believed to be about 30 years old.
No charges have been filed, but the questioning is part of the overall investigation.
Monday, investigators confirmed that the fire was the work of an arsonist. A 15-thousand dollar reward has been posted for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case. Anyone with information should call 888-ATF-FIRE.
Three firefighters were critically injured when they were hit by a wall that collapsed last Friday morning. Four others also were injured. All are recovering.
