Authorities in Washtenaw County say the target of a drug raid died after deputies used a stun gun to subdue him.
Sheriff’s spokesman Derrick Jackson said today that state police are investigating the incident because deputies were involved.
Jackson says deputies were assisting with a drug raid Friday afternoon in Superior Township when 31-year-old Stanley Jackson fled into a house, then struggled with deputies, who used a stun gun during the arrest.
Results of an autopsy are scheduled to be released Sunday.
