Rommates Say Missing Man Was Meeting Facebook Friend

Wyandotte police are searching for a man they say has been missing for weeks. Roommates of 38-year-old Robert Brisbois said he was meeting a woman he had been talking to on Facebook, and friends and family members haven't seen him since.

"He had last told his roommate that he was going to Monroe to a Best Western. We checked in Monroe and there isn't a Best Western," said Lt. Bob Heck.

" But the previous Best Western, which is Red Roof Inn, actually had no record of him. It turned out that family found that he has stayed in Woodhaven at a Best Western," Lt. Heck said.

Police say Brisbois told a family member that if he did not hear from him by August 8 at 5 p.m., that he should start to worry.

Brisbois  has brown hair, and has tattoos of a lotus flower, dragon, koi and snake on his arms. He was last seen driving his silver 2002 Chrysler Voyager Mini Van with license plate BQH9648. The passenger side hubcap is missing from his vehicle.

Police say they do not suspect foul play.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-SPEAK UP or Wyandotte Police.
