GL-SPIN To Talk Agile And CMMI: The Great Lakes Software Process Improvement Network will present “Agile and CMMI” by Broadsword president and CEO Jeff Dalton Thursday, Sept. 9. The event begins with networking and a light supper at 6 p.m. Agile software development methods and CMMI (Capability Maturity Mode Integration) best practices are often perceived to be at odds with each other. This presentation clarifies why the discord need not exist and proposes that CMMI and Agile champions work toward deriving benefit from using both, and exploit the synergies that have the potential to dramatically improve business performance. The meeting will be held in Room 201 of Dodge Hall at Oakland University in Rochester. RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org by 6 a.m. the day of the meeting.
