Two Children Injured In Detroit Crash
Detroit police say the mother of two children rushed to the hospital following an accident between a DHL delivery truck and a car isn't exactly telling the truth about what happened.
The accident happened Saturday night at the intersection of East Seven Mile Road and the I-75 service drive. Police believe the woman driving the car, a Chevy Cavalier, may have run a red light, slamming into the truck.
Witnesses say they saw a woman and her two daughters in the truck and no one else, while the mother claims her friend was behind the wheel and that the friend fled the scene following the accident. Police are investigating.
