A retrial begins today for the Detroit homeowner charged with fatally shooting a man he caught breaking into his house back in December.

The hearing is slated to be held in Wayne County Circuit Judge Michael Hathaway’s courtroom.

Hathaway declared a mistrial when jurors couldn’t agree on a manslaughter verdict charge against 31-year-old Tigh Croff.
