Ringing Cell Phone Reveals Thief

A 18-year-old Warren man was arrested when the mobile phone he stole started ringing.

Police said Lloyd Thomas allegedly broke into three cars, and while standing in line at a drug store, a police dispatcher called the number of the missing phone.

When the phone rang in Thomas's pants pocket, he was  arrested by officers.

The Macomb Daily reports that the suspect was arraigned Tuesday on theft and car break-in charges before 37th District Judge Jennifer Faunce, who set his bond at $7,500.

Thomas was in the Macomb County jail Tuesday night.
