Contest For Tech Savvy Students
What will the future of technology look like? The Exploravision contest asks kids from kindergarten through high school to think about what future technology will be like, and how to get there from today.
Teams of students research an area of technology, write about its past and present, and then set out to predict future achievements in the field. They need to describe the technological breakthroughs that need to occur, and then sketch out some ideas for how to make these advances come true.
Toshiba and the National Science Teacher's Association co-sponsor the contest, and the entries are due in February of 2011.
