Bank President Missing

The president of Community Central Bank in Mt. Clemens is missing and Macomb County authorities are asking for the public's help in finding him.

WWJ's Pat Sweeting reports David Widlak's car was found in the bank's parking lot along North Main Street Monday morning. A maintenance man found his office "in disarray" and called police.

Macomb County Sheriff Mark Hackel told reporters Widlak was at the bank over the weekend. Investigators are checking security video and bank records to hopefully learn more about what happened.

It's unknown if any money is missing from the bank.

Investigators have been at the bank since early Monday morning. Some employees were sent home because of the investigation.

A spokeswoman for the FBI said the agency is aware of the investigation and offering to assist in any way needed.

Widlak, pictured above, is 62 years old, 5'9'' tall, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call (586) 307-9358.
