I keep having to lower my price to get the sale. How can I stop discounting?

This is a question we get often especially in the economic times we are facing today.  Low price is not essential to closing a deal. Price is only an essential factor if we have not sold value to the prospect.  You need to focus on value and stop tricking yourself into the cutting price game. Sales is about selling value.
