CBL & Associates Properties Inc. of Chattanooga, Tenn. and its Laurel Park Place Web site in Livonia have new Web sites.

The new Web strategy provides a “complete loop” communication process. Online visitors will now experience richer information and a more vibrant platform. This fresh new approach will provide an entirely new look for the websites and introduce many more user-friendly options.

“We  wanted to engage the online visitor by offering a complete collection of retail information along with community highlights, thereby enabling the consumer to stay longer and learn more about the individual centers and what each one has to offer,” said Barb J. Faucette, vice president of mall marketing at CBL. “The new focus is on function and ease of navigation as well as expanding online resources.”

Community and center-specific landing pages will focus on special programs, selection of stores, the family-friendly shopping experience, and the variety of services available for customers. Some of the updated features include: community-focused information, travel instructions, up to the minute movie schedules (at select properties), informative links to local and national sponsors and much more. The Web sites feature up-to-date store directories, the latest sale activities, events and news information. Tips and purchase information on the CBL Select Mall Gift Cards make it easy for consumers to navigate through the site.

“This user-friendly content should make virtual visits to any CBL center even more exciting and informative. Virtual visitors to select CBL centers can register to follow ‘tweets’ or ‘friend us’ on today’s hottest social networking sites,” Faucette said.

For business partners, the new platforms enable national and local partners to better reach and communicate with customers: on property, via the website and through the Company’s outreach to consumers via social networking.  For consumers, they will find enhanced fashion and shopping information as well as a greater choice of how to stay ‘connected’ with their favorite CBL property and retailers. The new website strategy combined with CBL’s other digital marketing strategies further enhances the ability to tailor marketing communications to each mall’s distinct needs.
