Chrysler Financial May Start Lending Again

Chrysler Financial may soon offer auto loans again.

Cerberus Capital Management owns the company that still has the Chrysler name, but is no longer affiliated with the auto maker.

The Wall Street Journal reports that plans call for Chrysler Financial to offer auto loans and leases on new and used vehicles to people with less than spotless credit.

They also plan to focus on midsize businesses to which  banks have refused to loan.

There is deadline on when it might take effect, and there's also a chance the auto loan division could undergo a name change.
