Comcast Job Fair To Fill Technician, Warehouse Jobs

Comcast announced Friday that it is hiring 80 full- and part-time technicians and warehouse representatives in Michigan.

Two career open house events will take place on Monday, Oct. 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the University of Phoenix Livonia Campus, and Wednesday, Oct. 13 from 1 to 5:00 p.m. at ITT-Technical Institute in Troy. The company is looking for communications technicians and warehouse specialists who will support Comcast customers in Metro Detroit and surrounding areas.

Communications technicians will install and service all Comcast products including Comcast Video, Comcast High Speed Internet, and Comcast Digital Voice. The warehouse specialists will provide basic support of warehouse operations and inventory accuracy, as well as load and unload equipment from trucks and scan equipment received into the inventory system. The warehouse specialists must be able to lift 80 pounds, operate necessary hand tools and vehicles, and have some experience in stocking and working in a warehouse environment.

A high school diploma and/or equivalent work experience is required for either position.
