Dog Rescued From Freeway

dog found Dog Rescued From FreewayLivingston County Animal Control is looking for the owner of a dog which was found running in traffic Monday morning on I-96, just east of US 23 in Brighton Township.

A trooper was able to get the dog off the road, and took it to a vet to be checked out. The male yellow lab had injuries to all four of its paws from running on the highway.

The dog is approximately 50 pounds and wears a unique collar.

The owner of the dog is being asked to contact Livingston Animal Control at  (517) 546-2154 to arrange the dog’s return.
