Comcast Job Fair Wednesday

career fair 101110 Comcast Job Fair WednesdayComcast is planning to fill 80 full-time and part-time technician and warehouse positions in the weeks ahead.

In order to find qualified applicants, the cable company is holding its second career fair of the week in Troy Wednesday at the ITT Technical Institute on Big Beaver west of John R. It runs from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m.

Comcast spokesman Pat Paterno tells WWJ Newsradio 950 that applicants need to bring something more than just a nice looking suit and resume. “Having that customer-friendly experience, being confident in your ability. Obviously, with being a technician specialist, having a background (in that skill) is very important,” Paterno says.

Being able to work in a warehouse environment, and experience in running a hi-lo is also seen as a plus. Paterno says your best bet is registering on line beforehand. To register online and to get more information, click here.
