The Designate Adds Smartphone App

The Designate will launch a new smartphone app for its driving service for people who think they may have had too much to drink in an invitation-only party Thursday night in Royal Oak.

The company is launching the app for both the iPhone and the Android.

And should guests imbibe a bit too much at the affair, they'll get a free taste of the Designate's service -- the Designate sends out two people, one to drive you home in your own car, and the other to follow that driver and take him or her back to the Designate's home base.
