Ann Arbor Tech Firm Joins With Made In USA Group

Ann Arbor-based The Whole Brain Group LLC, a Web design and social media consulting firm, Monday announced that its president, Marisa Smith, has partnersed with Made in USA Certified to form a strategic business alliance that will focus on fostering technological growth and expansion for United States-based service and manufacturing businesses.

Whole Brain Group, winner of the Women Impacting Public Policy/AT&T Innovator of the Year Award, recently became "Service in USA Certified" and has developed a strong presence in Michigan as a provider of paperless technologies for business, education and non-profit organizations. The company has also expanded its reach beyond Michigan with its successful Web-based AccreditStation product, and has developed a national reputation among research institutions as the leading provider of accreditation management and automation software.

Smith and The Whole Brain Group have simultaneously developed a reputation for providing smart Web sites to businesses who want to position their site as the center of their social media universe. Web sites developed by the company are built to be social media machines -- integrating with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Yelp!, Foursquare and other popular platforms -- to drive traffic to Web sites and increase exposure for clients. As the market share of technologies like the iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android grow, clients are also demanding more mobile systems to allow-on-the-go access to information in an ever increasingly mobile business world.

The Whole Brain Group and Made in USA Certified are Woman Owned Businesses and both Smith and Made in USA's Julie Reiser are active members of Women Impacting Public Policy. Smith and Reiser share the same commitment to helping local businesses grow and compete in a competitive economic environment. Smith from Michigan and Reiser from Florida have seen first hand the devastating effects of the global outsourcing movement and the negative effect this has had on jobs and their local economies.  Both women are committed to raising the bar of innovation and creativity to allow businesses to thrive in this new environment.

Together, through this new alliance they will be able to provide their clients access to services and benefits previously not available.  Additionally both companies will offer reciprocal discounts for members.
