Tom Hoag’s Cluebucket Software in Oakland County has introduced ShortPath, a free iPad optimization puzzle game that will be released Thursday, Oct. 28.

The objective of ShortPath is deceivingly simple: Find the shortest round trip path that connects all of the locations around town. Think of yourself as a salesman, a busy parent or mail carrier trying to find the shortest path among all of the places you need to visit today. Start where ever you like, but your trip isn’t over until you return to your starting point.

Once the shortest path is found, the locations all randomly re-arrange themselves, a couple more are added and the player is tasked with finding the new shortest path.  Find the ShortPath quickly and record your score on the personal leaderboard.

ShortPath can be re-skinned in a variety of themes available as an in app purchase.  Each theme includes high quality graphics and a background track.  Purchase of a theme removes in-game advertising.
