It's Noise -- That Annoys

The cities of Ferndale and Royal Oak plan to take a listen to noise levels in the city, following complaints from people who live near those cities' downtown areas.

The Detroit News says, next month, Ferndale leaders will discuss taking decibel readings ahead of debate on a new maximum sound level. In Royal Oak, leaders are talking about higher and louder sound levels, and heavier penalties for repeat offenders.
