Michigan Emerging Named Top Event, Allows 'Adoption'

Michigan Emerging, a conference designed to promote and connect innovators,  entrepreneurs and the support systems they need to succeed, has been chosen as one of 10 featured events in the nation for Global Entrepreneurship Week.

During the week of Nov. 15-21, more than 30,000 events will take place across the nation to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit. Michigan Emerging, the only featured event in Michigan, will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at the Ford Conference and Event Center in Dearborn from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 online until Nov. 10 and $40 at the door.

One of Michigan Emerging's efforts is "Adopt An Entrepreneur," in which donors can pay to allow an entrepreneur to showcase their product at the Michgian Emerging Expo with a table and public relations efforts. You can adopt one entrepreneur for $500, three for $1,250, six for $2,500 or 10 for $4,500.

Those who adopt an entrepreneur will receive four tickets to Michigan Emerging, representation on event collateral and a special press release regarding the initiative, mention in opening and closing remarks at the event, and their logo on digital signs at the event.
