Liquor License Transfer Denied For Former Red Wing

Former Red Wing Dino Ciccarelli’s efforts to transfer a liquor license to a new steak house restaurant in Royal Oak has been denied.

Police told the city’s Liquor Control Committee that Ciccarelli had liquor violations at his night club in Shelby Township, that included selling to minors.

“Just like every hockey game you lose, you have meetings, you make changes and you regroup and, uh, you come back the next day with a different attitude,” Ciccarelli told WWJ’s Stephanie Davis.

Ciccarelli said his role in the steak house was as an investor, not a manager/operator.
