Sports Legends Auctioned For A Good Cause

A special treat is coming for sports fans who have always dreamed of spending a day with their sports hero.

Starting Friday and continuing to Nov. 21, members of the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame and local professional and collegiate athletes will hold an auction offering themselves as the prizes.

The 'All Star Online Auction' will feature more than 40 packages and sports collectibles centered on some of the biggest names in the history of Michigan sports.

Examples of a few of the many exciting prizes include having lunch with Gordie Howe and Bill Gadsby, or tailgating with University of Michigan-great Rick Leach before watching the game together from the sidelines.

Auction proceeds benefit the Michigan Sports Hall-of-Fame, and the Dave Bing scholarship fund.
