Tigers' Miguel Cabrera On Deck For Honor?
If a Tiger is going to beat out a Texas Ranger for a major award this year, it will have to be Miguel Cabrera.
In voting announced Monday, Texas reliever Neftali Feliz beat Tigers centerfielder Austin Jackson for the American League rookie of the year. Feliz received 20 of the 28 first-place votes in balloting by the Baseball Writers Association of America. Jackson got the other eight.
