West Mich. Man Killed While Cutting Tree

Authorities in Holland say a 73-year Zeeland, Michigan man was killed when a tree fell on him while he and others cut trees near Tulip City Airport.

The Grand Rapids Press says the accident happened about 12:20 p.m. Thursday. Police say the man was cutting a tree when it fell, hitting him and pinning him against a standing tree.

Police say rescue workers couldn't revive him. His name is being withheld until after his family is notified.
