A couple convicted of murder in the dragging death of a Kmart security guard will learn their sentences.
Samantha Lomasney and James Woodworth were convicted by separate juries of first degree murder, which carries a life prison term without the possibility of parole.
The victim, Greg Wainio, was a loss prevention officer at the Waterford store, where he died while trying to stop the pair from making off with stolen CDs. He was holding onto the getaway car driven by Lomasney, who took off and slammed into a pillar, crushing Wainio, who was then dragged.
