The City of Detroit is starting to close off streets ahead of the big Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Woodward Avenue will be down to one lane northbound and one lane southbound from Warren to Mack from noon until 8 Wednesday night.

After 8pm, this section will be completely closed until after the parade Thursday.
