Warren Police are investigating a murder at a condominium in the area of 14 Mile and Hoover.

Lt. Michael Torey says 57-year old Robert Miller was found dead in his condo Wednesday after family members checked on him. Torey say family members got a call from his job that he had not shown up for work.

“Upon entering the home, they found Robert unconscious and apparently a victim of a homicide. They contacted us our department responded. Preliminary investigation revealed it appeared as though Robert was involved in some type of struggle in the home,’ said Torey.

Torey tells WWJ they are talking to witnesses.

“We did speak to a number of people in the complex that adjoint his residence. And they did hear a commotion the night before. So we believe we have a time narrowed down,” said Torey.

Several items were taken from the home, and the suspects got away in Miller’s 2010 Nissan Maxima, which was found burned in Detroit.

No arrests have been made.
