MCWT Offers ConnectNet Networking Training, Holiday Event: The Michigan Council of Women in Technology’s popular Connect-Net networking forums have focused on many topics throughout the year to bring professionals together and learn valuable skills. During the last event of 2010, the presenter will help you match your professional and social style with specific networking techniques. You’ll also learn about network resource diagrams and how to utilize yours to increase networking success and overcome common stumbling blocks. This session will also include a discussion on what worked and what can be improved for Connect-Net forums in 2011. MCWT would also like your opinion on topics and speakers that have the greatest impact. The team is open to all ideas to make Connect-Net even better next year. The evening will commence with a cookie exchange. To participate, bake five dozen cookies (wrapped individually by dozen) to exchange with others. You’ll be able to cut down on your holiday baking workload and increase variety. Register online at www.mcwt.org. For more information, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
